We went to the zoo on 10/09/2010 in hopes that I would go into labor and have Colin on 10/10/10 but that didnt work so well. I have yet to go into labor by myself to date.

I think this is a really cute picture. It has all the grandkids with the exception of Colin who was not born yet. Sevyn loved looking at all the animals. I am not sure he really understood them though.

The Zoo

The zoo is a sad place. When I go I have to remind myself that these animals could not live in the wild alone and we are actually helping them. I support paying the entreance fee to the zoo because the money paid will help build the animals better homes, which they are in deperate need for.

Bailey had the opportunity to play football with the Utah Valley Football League. (UVFL) He started the season asking me what a QB is. Now it seems like he knows all the postions and he loves football.

If you were not muddy by the end of this game, than you did not play the game. This is after the first play. He was a huge mess by the end of the game. We really enjoyed going to all of his games!

I love this picture. Bailey is the one in the green socks. He became really good friends with the other members on his team.

Bailey is now a New York Giants fan just like Rio. He cannot wait to play again next year. He said he wants to go to college on a scholarship and play in the NFL. The coach had him play defence because he is a really quick player. Bailey wants to play receiver though.

Bailey Halloween

I wish I had more pictures of his costume but I guess I didnt have any. This is all I have but, these contacts were all he cared about.

Bailey wanted to be in charge of doing his own makeup. The only request he had this year was for the freaky White contacts which did look pretty good. I thought it was going to be a nightmare to get the contacts in, although it was not easy, it was not as hard as I thought it would be. Bailey had one last school halloween party. Next year he will be in Jr. High so things are going to change for him.

Halloween

Halloween this year was a blast. Sevyn was a dragon and Bailey was...well I dont know what he was. He was something scary as he is every year. Colin was too little so I did not dress him up. Me and my mom took the boys trick or treating with Emma and Evie. They were absolutly adorable. Sevyn fell asleep after a little while. Bailey went with his friends and was out most of the night. We got Sevyns costume this year at Old Navy for only $17.00

Time Flies

I cant believe the last time I updated this blog was Sevyn's first birthday. So much has happened since then. Since there is a new addition to our family I am going to start there.

Colin Briggs Fernandez was born by c-section at 8 AM on 10/18/2010. He was 7 lb 6 oz and 19 inches long. He has been such a blessing. At first I thought I had another cry baby because he would cry all the time. I realized that he was crying becuase he wasnt latching very well. Unfortunatly I had to stop nursing at 5 weeks. Once we got him on a bottle he was a very happy birthday. He hardly ever cries and he sleeps most of the night.
